How Clients Can Start a Windows Support Session

Use these steps when a DCX technician asks you to open a Quick Assist session on a Windows computer.

1

Open Start

Click the Windows Start button and type Quick Assist into the search bar.

2

Launch the App

Open Quick Assist, then choose the option to receive help when your DCX technician gives you a support code.

3

Approve Access

Enter the support code from DCX, review the request, and approve screen sharing or control only when you recognize the technician assisting you.
